So I just changed my timing belt and all components on my 4g63 turbo motor. I changed all the pulleys and the auto tensioner.
The belt feels pretty tight and all my timing marks line up.
The only thing I'm concerned about is the space on the auto tensioner.

Here is a pic and let me know if it looks correct.
Thanks

It is oem. All the timing parts I got were oem.
I'll take a picture later but the 2 small holes are directly below the bolt

O
. . <<<<<< like that

the one i just did the 2 small holes did not end up directly like that to get the tension correct. and really that is just a starting point not for 100% sure where they should always be. but every other one i have ever done there were always close to that. the most recent one they were closer to 1/4 turn away from under to get the tension correct.

when it was set like yours the tensioner on mine looked exactly like yours in the pic. way too far out and JUST barely had the belt taught, so it would not have been able to take up any variance.

So now I can pull the gernade pin in and out but my tensioner pulley looks like this.
The tension on the belt feels good but just want to triple check im good

yup, exactly how the one i just did looks, according to the trip ive got 866 miles on it like that. the belt cant really be longer, and the teeth count has to be exact, so the pulley has got to be just a little different. not really surprising considering its not like the parts are even close to the same age as the car.
