I have pulled my turbo because my car won't build no more than 9 psi. I have a mbc installed and I have tried adjusting but no luck. I know the housing are notorious for cracking and of course mine is. I believe I know the answer but are these cracks way to much and should be replaced?

I wouldn't think that would limit the 14b to 9psi. It's so easy to overboost a 14b.. I would sooner say that you're dumping all your pressure into your wastegate, and the spring is overcome at 9psi.

Try this *CAREFULLY*:

1) disconnect your wastegate
2) tie the flapper shut with some copper wire or something
3) go for a quick, short pull. second or third gear to 3200rpm shoudl have you well above 9psi.

*NOTE* Be careful not to let it reach too high. As soon as you pass 10psi, you know it's the mbc. If it still doesn't pass 10psi, you have a different issue.
