I have a fairly simple question. I have a 1g, jmf intake, jmf coil mount, already deleted ac, Obviously no stock intake mani to block bracket. Is it possibly to slide in the alternator from the pass side under the intake mani to the drivers side to mount? I don't want to remove my intake mani, every time I do something stupid happens, bolts break, threaded holes get tore up and I have to heli coil them... Ect. I'm trying not to have to remove it if possible. Thanks for the info, I searched and couldn't find the answer

If you remove the starter there should be enough room. I just installed a jmf manifold, jmf coil bracket and alternator relocation and there was a good amount of room afterwards on the passenger side.

It is a pita, I had the aluminum version and it broke, bought the steel version for the swap. Had an alternator go after that, and did remove the starter, I have removed all the extra stuff so only engine harness and knock sensor wires. It takes some finagling to swap out or remove.

Anybody do this from the bottom with the drivers side axle out?
