So got car back together and while.driving my shift cable broke at the loop. The outer of the loop metal wise seems fine. Can the rubber be replaced

Check out extremepsi sale think they have them for $14. And yes they replace the inside rubber. You remove it all and the solid ones just pop in and get held in with a snap ring. Those ones you linked should work. That's as long as they were machined correctly.

Glad to hear, I was worried gonna have to spend another crap load on yet another thing LOL ahaha.

Do those just replace the inside parts?

To Further my question do i just remove all Rubber bits and and use those solid bushings?

Those are nice replacements as well however I am on a low budget as Sadly just spend too much getting car running again LOL..

Would Something like this work?

Yes, the ebay link will work. I have always preferred the brass bushings over the bearings. If you only need the bushings, then I would purchase from your link as Extremepsi has a great price, but there is also the handling fee. If you need more parts anyway, consider it like getting them shipped for free.

Here is an old install guide (photos included), but this is not a new modification:

Thank you very much, that literally just eased my mind tonight, after all the work i've done I am about to just go nutty.

The install should only take 15-20 minutes unless the center of the bushing is seized to the pin. If so, PB blaster and pliers (using a twisting motion) will work well. You will need to be careful to not apply to much pressure to the pin. Shifting will feel like night and day with the new bushings. This also pairs well with shifter base bushings and a B&M short throw shifter (if you can track one down).

worked like a charm. TyYou all for help
