Car should be running today,

Ended up having to take out the Passenger CV Axle as the bolt was all types of bent and screwed up. Got it swapped out and new one back in and now all installed.
Just got to do a last line and hose check, Fill Fluids and do a test.

Wish me luck.

Note: Also may need to do a rough alignment.

From what I can tell its an Oil Sensor Level switch.. Gonna get a replacement today and see if i can get the leak to stop so i can finally start driving my baby again.

yea that's the oil sensor. they are prone to leaking esp after 20 years...

As far as the upper ball joint goes... i'm sure you already have it all set... but the easiest thing to do is put a jack under the knuckle and lift it up and get the upper ball joint in. once its all lined up, jack it up some more and it will put enough pressure to start the interference fit allowing you to tighten the nut down correctly.

Thank you, and oh i forgot to mention that i got that done already basically what i ended up doing.. hehe

Hopefully today I will replace that sensor and be all set.

Dragnous updated 1995 Eclipse GS

Today I buttoned up some more things that have been on back burner. Got the wheel well panels back in ( I need to buy some new black pins or whatever they are called LOL ). Got the tired mounted ( still gotta torque them ), Found one of my missing vacuum lines and got that hooked back up.

Plan for tomorrow: Install new Oil Pressure Sensor on block and hope to finally rid myself of this oil leaking issue(s). and to be smart I drained almost all oil back into clean oil container so I dun loose any during the installation process. I think I may need to rebleed the clutch again seems to work to easy LOL ahaha. does move the fork ok but I did only gravity bleed and by myself so need someone to push in clutch while I bleed again to ensure air is out ? I think that is correct at least.

Will post pictures and Progress Tomorrow.

To catch everyone up.
The oil pressure sensor change went well. Finally no more oil leak.
During first test drive shifter cable bushings broke yay. Replaced them with soils brass bushings.

I noticed now my breaks are grinding. Think it's because they sat for so long.

Also believe the month old gas giving me issues. Gonna put some treatment in and see if that solves my problem. Acts like getting no gas. I'll turn off than back I will be fine for a time. Also wondering if my injectors are dirty

Also gotta do dyi front alignment

Today I think I am finally getting somewhere LOL

Today found out what was grinding in the brake area, Apparently during the rear main seal fix must have bent the brake dust covers, So I bent them back and no more grinding,

Yesterday I also Replaced the Crappy Aux Bass Battery Terminal with a traditional style one and now a majority of problems with idling and what not have gone away. Today the Replacement upstream o2 sensor should be in and that should fix my fuel mix issues.

YAY!

Next Ventures......

-Inner Tie Rod Ends
-Outer Tie Rod Ends
-New Spark Plug Wires
-New Spark Plugs
-New Hoses
-Coilovers
-PAINT <--- Cant wait but want to get mechanical Issues resolved first.

O2 Sensor: STill getting code P0134 - 02 Sensor Circuit No Activity Detected (Bank I Sensor 1)
--Replaced With Brand New Bocsh O2 Sensor.
--Reset Code and came right back.
-Car Driving Really bad, wants to stall, Shudder etc.

IAC: Once from Junk Yard is failing.
-Replaced With: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1472-IDLE-A...ash=item1c562e0b86:g:Pj4AAOSwyQtVpmpB&vxp=mtr

--Jumps and revs at 4k with 0 screw adjustment in place..
-I noticed the difference between the OEM and the Replacement is the center is longer than one in picture.
-But also heard you need to reset something in when replacing the IAC

So if anyone knows the issue with these 2 things please let me know.

For the O2 have you checked the wires from the sensor to the ECU? Could be one of the wires is shorting out.

Also a bad O2 sensor is not out of the realm of possibilies. I have gotten one before that didn't work right out of the box for my wideband O2.

As for the IAC sensor I am not sure. It should have had install instructions with it. Basically set the length to the one you just took out.

Starting to look,

Not sure its fully path, I have traced from to over the motor but from there i still need to track it down.. Sad part is PO Hacked the crap out of the wire harness so having hard time know what is what..

ECU is the Computer under the dash in middle correct?

as for the IAC set the length? how is this done?

On the 420a the ECU is in the engine bay between the fuse box and the strut tower.

IAC... You should be able to just turn it out

ahhhh! I tired it on one of the junk ones i have.. yep i see you hold the cover part and you can twist the tip to adjust it

hehe .
So yea it adjusts cool didnt know that, the seller never included any kinda of instructions LOL..

So I am guessing you extend it to start it out and let the car adjust and learn on its own from there..

Also Picked up a Felpro Gasket for the throttlebody so I can stop using RTV ... I hate rtv LOL ahahah..

Dragnous updated 1995 Eclipse GS (Reached End)

Well after everything I have done with car i think it has reached its end with me. I love my car but Now the Piston Rings are shot 90 in chambers LOL I do not feel like rebuilding the engine so this car will be going up for sale and what not.

Looking at GST in my home down.. its needs to be rescued and deblinged but may be good entry to the gst turbo world for me Get back to everything when i get it.
