Ok so the car runs great in warm weather but now I have the car back together and running e85 and it starts very hard but after a bit it will start but takes about 3 mins or so to get running

I want to see if I can get some help getting it to start better in the cold because this will be my DD car

before I get started what kind of log do you want to help me out just one of me trying to start it or it running or just one of the settings

thanks
MJP

that was going to be my next question how hard its it to switch back to 93. I am no tuning expert yet haven't played with dsmlink a whole lot yet. it was tuned by a shop before I got it.

Thanks GST for that link I did some searching before I started this thread but I guess not enough

It takes a little bit of work tuning the injectors back in for gas since on e85 they are 30% smaller. However, it's not bad just had to change my fuel maps back to stock and retweak them and watch my fuel trims.
If you get a gm flex fuel sensor and wire it in to ecmlink it's extremely simple since it tells you the global % on the fuel. I have one but haven't installed it but a lot of people love them for dual maps e85/93.

Also consider the possibility that stations in your area may change to a seasonal e85 mix. It can go as low as e70 during the winter. CoolantTempFuelAdj may be what you need to add fuel for cold starts.

coolanttempfueladj is your friend.. some need to add fuel.. some need to subtract.. every car is different. I had to lower mine drastically to get it to fire(fires on 2nd or 3rd try) and it still need about 5 to 10min warm up once started on a cold day.
