Hi everyone, I just picked up a 94' Eagle Talon Tsi yesterday. It has AWD, ABS, rear VLSD, and only 126k original miles. I got a thick folder with records and receipts from the second owner, who knew the first owner in college. I even got the original window sticker. With exception to the headliner, the interior is in very good condition. The first owner had taken the car to a shop that did the timing belt wrong. As a result, an exhaust valve had been smacked into a piston. The second owner got the car like this, and redid the whole top end, with receipts to prove it. Rebuilt the turbo at that time as well, put a new hotside on it, also with receipts to prove it. I got some pictures of the engine when it was all apart as well. The car runs quite well, and aside from some neglect in the suspension and brake areas, its looking like its going to be a great car.

The only things not stock about the car are a 2G exhaust mani, and when the head was redone some things were changed.

I am going to be putting fresh fluids in everything, I have seen recommendations for redline MT-90 in the trans, I have had good experiences with this in the past, and shockproof in the T-Case and Rear Diff. I've got struts, brakes, and tie rods on the way as well.

So far, the car seems like great fun. It is going to be hard to resist adding ponies, but on a college student's budget, and with a wedding around the corner, it will have to stay stock for now.

Clean car looks like no one has hacked at it.Welcome to the site!
