In with the other guys... pretty sure none of this:

Borg Warner S366 w/ 4" DP out of the hood
JMF SMIM
1600cc injectors
Treadstone 6" thick intercooler
Civic radiator
dual 044 fuel pumps
8 gallon fuel cell
ACT 2900 or Southbend clutch

is stock. Lol Good luck to ya on the 9s but that title is pretty misleading.

Quest for 9's on $5000 would have been a good title. :p Good luck on the build, I bet I have over 10 in mine and got my car for 1200. I will giggle if I get in the 11's and you wouldn't be able to beat the smile off of me if mine went 10.99 just once so I could say I had a 10 second street car!

My buddy tacked all of the hotside today just to get the ball rolling. We angled the turbo a little towards the passenger side to make it easier to get the 4" downpipe where it needs to go

Thanks but the placement actually sucks. The compressor inlet is partially below the top half of the bumper so when I cut a hole for it, it's going to be a horseshoe shape and I'm going to hate it. I may rivet sheet metal to the bumper from the intercooler end tank to the other side, covering the turbo, then drill a hole in the sheet metal so no incoming air will be wasted

Quest for 9's with stock block & trans
Although I kinda figured that's what you meant

Looking forward to seeing what you can do though... :thumb:

People think of "stock block" differently. Some think the whole short block is stock and some think of just the stock block casting as stock block. I'm going to try to do it on stock cams too. If the turbo takes too long to spool, I'll add some nitrous to get it to spool quicker

I'm currently laid off from work so I'm just busting my ass making money wherever I can to put into it. If I go back to work, it'll take me about 4-6 weeks to buy everything. With my luck, I'll get it finished the first day of snowfall and will be stuck staring at it all winter

Picked up a Quartermaster twin disc for $175

How did you manage to find one so cheap? LOL

A local Dsm veteran saw my build thread on another forum and decided to sell it to me cheap. Even came with ARP flywheel bolts

Now that's luck! Great goals hope you can reach them. I will keep my eyes on this thread.

Well it looks like this build may take a different route in the next couple of days. Saturday I'm supposed to be picking up an auto swap (as long as guy actually comes through on the deal)

Now the search for a 4 bolt auto rear diff

Little update.. kid with the trans tried scamming me. Ended up finding another auto trans & tcase which I'll be picking up tomorrow. Sold my 5 speed trans to someone local today

It needs to be rebuilt so I'm selling it cheap. It held fine in the car it came out of which ran 10.1 but it looks scary
