I used to run a 65LB/min gt35 on stock cams with out any surge issues. I believe I recall others back in the day running similar size or bigger turbos with stock cams with out any surge issues as well. It seems unlikely to be the problem to me, but I could be wrong. All cars are different.

The OP's post and info is pretty vauge; a video of the problem and/or at least some datalogs would go a long way to helping solve the issue. It may be a tuning issue, boost control issue, or a mechanical issue with the car. A boost leak test is a good idea too.

What blow off valve do you have? Have you filled out a recent profile of your car?
I'm curious about this too. Improperly hooked up or installed BOV's can be responsible for the majority of surge issues.
 
I'm sorry guys I've been working like crazy at the shop this week ... Doing 13 to 16 hours shift so no time or energy to play with the car. But the good news is that I'll be able to order new parts this weekend.

I'll take time to reply all of your question and I'll also create my DSM profile to help you know what I'm running after work today.

Thanks Goofer my friend, yes I was ready for the Dyno. Did all the things on the list here, base timing is set, Biss screw was adjusted (dude played with it on the dyno), plugs where fine (had a spare set of BPR7eS @ 0.028"), fresh 94octane gaz a full tank after draining the 91 with the drain plug 1g has, no boost leak, TPS was adjusted with the Link feature but was still showing 1% sometime so we offset it -2% and it shows 0% when idling ...

Redrkt, my BOV is Tial Q 50mm and is hook to my Magnus cast smim. Only need one hose so it's hard hook it the wrong way. Was working awesome last summer and before I blew my 16g. Have you read that the surge was happened going WOT, sound was coming from the turbo and K&N filter. The BOV isn't recirculated. I'll fill my DSM profile sorry it's taking so much time ...
