Think possibly someone with a 3kgt that worked(s) might have um...you know swiped it? That much money in parts would get someones attention.

Oh anyone know anyone who's imported a car from Japan? Looking at picking up a mk4 supra really want to know whats all involved before I even attempt to financially pull the trigger. Mk2's might be leaving me shortly here. :,-(

So, just looking around, almost all of us have our cars out of commission, thats almost funny. almost...

Yeah...almost funny. The good news is I have a new turbo on the way. Even got a twin scroll non-wg housing with a 3" vband on it. Might trade off my BEP housing and t3 manifold to get my hands on a twin scroll manifold.

my car WAS working well. popped the head/gasket in front of maybe a few hundred people to their delight.
first pass was 13.1 @ 103 and i just kept turning up the boost each pass. wound up with a 12.5@109 and then hg let go on that pass i ran 13.0 @88
this car is substantially more fun than my old blue blue one. the evo 3 trans was money well spent, can run all night long and never miss a shift. 1.9 60 foots all night long with tires that the tech guy shaked his head at this car has en evo3 but only because i pit my good 14b on my blue car.
its on 450cc stock ecu, no engine management. just under 2500 lbs race weight.
i doubt ill get the nerve to go back again this year, need to get ecmlink. but it is pretty sweet racing something fast again
i took out a newer mustang(by half a track haha). a fox body(spme are 9's some run 17's). this one had slicks and ran 14's. took out a new challenger with slicks too. i know were really just there to race outselves but its still pretty cool when a dodge colt can just murder a mustang.

Hey brandon you got any spare running 6 bolts kicking around?

nope, i dont even have a spare. times are tough.

shit...... well I guess I have no choice but to bandage up my current motor I think. I was able to limp it home, it is now smoking big white clouds. Pulling the head tonight and checking to see how bad the warp-age is. Have most of the parts if not all the parts to fix it I think.

I do have a 1990 6 bolt core that I was planning on keeping, but for the right price I could be pursuaded to part with it.

Also got my car running last week, going to start the clutch break in this week I think. So far everything is working well, and I think once I am done the break in I am going to do the switch over to speed density and give it a shot. Might also finally hook up this meth injection kit that I bought a few years ago haha.

Depends what you need to know?

Also, Does anyone have a good condition T25 laying around?

Thanks for the offer Mike, i have 2 core engines myself, i just need a health running one....
Say....i dont think andrew would notice if i jacked the one from his 1g for a few months LOL.

Well its been a month with no posts. Whats everyone up to?

I bought a new second gen. Well, not really new, technically this is my old 2g Spyder that I imported from the states back in 2008 and then sold. Found it for an awesome price and bought it back. Definitely rough around the edges but I have it done and ready to run once again. Still more work to do though, I will be replacing the top either this winter or early in the spring and looking for a few Tan interior pieces.

I gave up on the 3kgt it's for sale... After looking into it and my job situations changing at such a stupid rate.. I can't afford a project..

So yet im saving up and hoping i'll be buy another dsm in the spring...

Man that sucks to hear!
My car got broken into last week when i was on the road....i got lucky tho, 2 other vehicle in town got nicked. I just had to replace my window. Definitely glad i got a shitty old deck, didnt give away my brand new speakers LOL.
Anyone have a good condition lower 6 bolt timing cover they could part with?

Lol My original DSM's up for sale again in duck lake.....maybe we should start a trend of buying our cars back? haha

I haven't touched the Eclipse in almost a year, just been driving the 3k. Got a full turbo back exhaust on it now so she sounds amazing though.

I'd love to, but it really needs another clutch and suspension. I'm hoping to get that next year, I'm out of money and our dollar is terrible right now.

There was a guy selling a agx setup for $50 a little while ago. Dont know if its still around tho. I was going to jump on it but i figured a new engine was way more important......just dropped the block off today at the machine shop.

I'll probably just get a south bend clutch that'll hold what I need. What are building in that block? Anything forged?

I was also thinking maybe we need a SK group on Facebook, it'd be easier to keep up with each other and could post pics easy and stuff. What do you all think?

How much?
