I got a 99 gs parts car and i want to swap rear knuckles if possible, right know i cant get the wheels off due to locking lug nuts so i cant really check till i get the wheels off haha

Yes the knuckles will swap over Since both cars are fWD. AWD and FWD rear knuckles are not interchangeable. It sounds like you are looking for tire clearance. Here is an additional thread to support my response:

For the lugs, there are lock removal adapters. A cheaper route is to sacrifice a socket that is nearly large enough to go on, but will need assistance of a hammer/mallet. Then remove with an impact or breaker bar.

thanks for the reply the reason i want to swap is because the bushings are shot on the talon and clanking around

You also happen to be getting an "upgrade" for tire clearance. If your not in a hurry, you may want to look at replacing the bushings in the "new" knuckles. You will also want to spray everything you will need to remove on both cars with PB blaster a day or two before you do this job. Use plenty of anti-seize on parts during install for years of trouble-free service.

Thank you so much, i've been looking for this answer forever

Check the bolt length before bolting the hub to the knuckle. I got rear knuckles off a 95 and installed poly bushings in them and then installed them on my 98. I didnt know the 98 knuckles used a longer bolt and stripped the threads in the hub when tring to install them.

if your trying to remove the stock, round locking lugs, you can hammer on a 19mm 12 point socket.
