Does this seem like a normal HX35 to you?

I just picked up a 7 blade HX35g with a 9cm turbine housing. I took it apart to get some measurements on the inducer and extucer wheels and came up with this:

Compressor- 54/78mm
Turbine- 55/65mm

The compressor seems right, got lucky it wasn't 49mm, but the turbine wheel seems small to me. Could this be a problem?

Sounds like it uses the HX30/HY35 turbine to me...all HX35's use a 70/60mm turbine.

Assuming the turbine housing doesn't mount with a v-band, you're going to need to swap the turbine if you're planning to use a Bullseye turbine housing.

Unfortunately, it bolts to the turbo so BEP option becomes a little more expensive.

I was throwing around the idea of going t3. If it's a HY35 housing, could I bolt it up to a turbonetics t3 manifold I have lying around? From the look of it I'll probably need a spacer to clear the block if I go that route.

My main goal is a low 7, high 6 sec 1/8 mile pass in a full weight awd talon. Whatever makes that kind of power I'll be happy with.

I think I got a little confused with your response. It sounds like if my turbine housing bolts to the cartridge then I can't run BEP? I looked at some BEP bolt-on housings and they seem to use the same bolt pattern my turbo uses. Is there any other reason I can't run BEP, as is?

I've searched the past few days and haven't found any turbos like this one. Most 9cm housings seem to be v-band HY35s, but this one has the HX35 stamp and mounts with bolts. I think I'm going to run it T3 and see how it does, it just seems strange how many different odd ball Holsets are out there. I bought this thinking it was just a normal HX35, should've done a little more research before I picked it up. Hopefully it'll preform like some other HY35s I've seen on this site.

I got my T3 manifold out of storage and noticed the turbine housing flange doesn't fit it. So I took some measurements and it turns out the Holset turbine housing has a T4 flange.

So it's got an HX35g compressor cover with an HX35 wheel, and a T4 turbine housing with a smaller HY35 wheel. Anyone have any idea how this would preform? If not, then I guess I'll find out.

I dug around the internet for awhile and found a thread on a UK diesel forum that talks about these. They only found 2 and they were from Sweden. Just my luck I bought what's probably one of the rarest HX35s... and it in no way fits my application. Goes to show I need to do my research before I buy. Anyways, anyone need a T4 holset? :)

Here's a link to pictures of the turbo. They're huge so I only posted one of the turbine exducer here.
