ok so im going to replace my upper control arm since pretty much all my ball joints r going bad i have a chilton an it says that the new arm needs to be at a 85 degree angle when i go to install is this true an will it affect the arm if it is not installed this way?an also does anyone kno of a site where i can buy a oem upper arm by chance

The reason it specifies that install degree is due to the fact that it's where the arm is positioned on stock suspension sitting on level ground.

The importance of this is because of the the vulcanized rubber in the mounts. When you torque the bolts down the rubber does stretch/move a bit as the arm is moved up and down. If you don't install it at that position it will cause the rubber bushings to wear sooner.

As for OEM parts JNZ tuning should have them/be able to get them. They are not cheap though by any means.

Alright good deal I might just do that think imma just get some cheap ones from autozone for now an use them till I have some more cash to get some oem arms
