My stock pulley didn't want to come off for me. I just took a soft blow and hit it in on the edges going around in circles until it came loose.

I've beat the thing on the edges, around the center, used the 3 point puller, yet nothing. It will not move. The only thing I have not tried is applying heat to it.

Spray some pb blaster on it and let it soak overnight. Then go at it with the soft blow again. I got gradually less gentle with mine until it came off. When I went around the edges, I treated it like I would putting on a tire, going from one side of the pulley to an inch or so from the opposite side all the way around. Took a good bit of time, but it came loose eventually.

I also want to say the 420a's use a special puller that's different from a 3 point. Been a long time since I wrenched on one though.

You could also try using a slide hammer attached to it. May have to fab something for conecting to it but worth a try

Got it off with some heat and the 3 jaw puller. Thanks guys.
