1). Any boost, vac, or exhaust leaks?
Boost leak tested 5psi above your max boost with no leaks?

Tested system last Saturday at turbo and throttle body using soapy water, could not find a leak for the life of me. If there is one, it's well hidden haha.

2). Verified mechanical timing?

Timing is spot on.

3). Verified base timing?

5* BTDC is where it's set at

4). Ignition system
COP or Stock Coil: stock
Wire brand and Age: NGK, less than a year old
Spark Plug brand, type and Gap: NGK BPR6ES gapped at 0.28

5). Motor health (Compression Test)
Cylinder 1:140
Cylinder 2:145
Cylinder 3:150
Cylinder 4:145

6). Performed basic throttle body adjustments?
Idle Switch: simulated through link
Throttle Cable: yes
TPS: used links TPS adjustment tool and adjusted it for 0.63v at 0% throttle position
BISS: Used to set ISCposition around 30

7). Compression ratio

Stock 1g pistons 7.8:1 I believe

8). Any known bad sensors or brittle wiring?

Replaced every sensor in the car except for the coolant sensors which were still ok.

9). Any DTC/CEL codes?
no

10). Electrical system
Car off (not running):12.6v
Car running:13.5

11). Base fuel pressure and injector values
Base Fuel Pressure:37 PSI stock regulator
Injector Size (cc/min):450ccstock injectors

12). Properly calibrated and configured wideband sensor
Sensor Brand:AEM UEGO
Calibration Date: Calibrated through linearWB yesterday. It's as close as I can get it.

13). Type of fuel
Type: pump gas 91 octane
Percent of Ethanol: 10%

14). Watched ECMlink how-to videos?

Many times

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I did a few 3rd gear pulls yesterday and noticed I'm getting significant knock retard once I go past 4500RPM at WOT.My IDC is sometimes at over 100%, but my WB is pegged at the richest it can read which is 10.0:1, so it's most likely even richer than that. As soon as I hit about 8 PSI at around 3000 or so RPM it's pegged at 10.0:1 and just stays that rich all the way to 6000 rpm. Can someone please look at my log and point me in the right direction? I don't want to hurt the engine with all the knock I'm getting.

Setup:
1g GSX on V2 DSMLink
91 octane pump gas
AEM WB
Stock block
14b at 15 PSI.
450cc injectors and a walbro 190
Stock fuel pressure regulator
3" exhaust with ported 2g O2 housing.

I tried taking a look at your log today but I have never used V2 before and have no current knowledge on how to properly use it.

With that being said, I can not see your direct access tables (assuming V2 had them) so its hard to tell what may be off.

Timing is at 16* on spoolup and the knock starts when the boost kicks in. I would pull timing on spool up to get rid of the knock and go from there.

No Direct Access table in v2 unfortunately. Just the sliders. Whats timing supposed to be at at spool up? If you're referring to knock at 2500-3000 rpm, I'm almost positive its phantom knock as it will randomly knock off boost while cruising around that RPM range. It's the knock I'm getting when BoostEst is reading 10+ around 4500-6000 at WOT that I'm concerned about.

The knock at 3700 when you are WOT and in open loop is a problem. Thats when the turbo hits full boost.

As far as what it should be, there is no magic number. Pull timing in the affected areas until the knock goes away. After you get things ironed out, you can add a degree or two back in until you see knock again.

Aha ok, its been a couple weeks since I last looked at the log. Thanks for pointing that out, don't rememeber seeing that. I'll give that a shot when I get the car back.

I pulled timing as well as pulled fuel and I'm STILL getting stupid amounts of knock. Knock V2 is where I logged after adjusting fuel and timing.

After this I decided to check my base timing just to make sure and it was set to 15* instead of 5*, so I screwed up on that one. Noticed now my ISCPosition is at 19-21 and my BISS is bottomed out. I'm starting to think I have a boost leak that I'm just not catching. I decided to lower my boost to 12-13 and pulled some more timing and I'm still getting 20-40 counts of knock and 5-10* of knock retard. Something just doesnt add up here.... Knock V2 Update is the log pertaining to this paragraph.
