Like the title says cat just randomly cut off while I was driving home I took out my laptop because I have ECM link and the code says 0022 crankshaft position sensor so does that mean I need a new one ?

Means that sensor isn't functioning properly could be unplugged or it could be junk.
Where is that located and yes I bought this car 2 years ago never changed it not sure it previous owner did I was about to buy a coil until I remember I had ECM link

6 bolts use a cam position sensor that is located on the back end of the intake camshaft, just look to see if it plugged in or not

You don't have to buy one just yet, just look at it and see that the wires are good, and that the contacts on the plug and sensor are corroded and then you can decide what to do from there

Oops, I lost track of who's who in the thread.

So what did you find?
Have you checked you're ECU for capacitor leakage?
Nah I ran the codes that crankshaft code then the guy said 6 bolts don't have those so it was the Cas instead
