That's the most ruthless 1g I have ever seen. I would like to pick the brain of the owner as well.

Does anybody know who he raced/outcome on the Street outlaws filming a few weeks to months ago? I know there was a nondisclosure signed. Just wondering if anybody heard anything through the grapevines before the episode airs.

My guess would be he was told to turn the boost down, act like a complete douche, and make sure the other vehicle won. It's what every single import that's been on the show so far has been told to do.

Yea I didn't catch that he had aluminum rods, but I figured the rotating assembly was far from stock. The block itself is what blows my mind, I had no idea they could take 1300hp worth of abuse. But then again I haven't really heard of a 4g63t block failing... other than a rod being thrown though it.

I went back and watched it again and it sounds like he said stock head too. That's insane if it's just a stock unported 6 bolt head.

Guys! I'm sure when he said stock block and head he was referring to the cores. Unlike us many platforms out there have the option to go with aftermarket cores. There's no way he's putting that power down with stock cams, rods, porting etc... If I'm wrong tho I'll shoot my self in the foot LOL.

It wouldn't surprise me to find out it were true. But, how do you know that CrackedDSM?

Friends of mine personally know the silver Evo guy and the Supra owner. These are people whose word I actually trust. Plus if you search a little on EvoM you can catch snatches of conversation that all say the same thing. The Evo was on a stock block and stock turbo for example and still kept up with Farmtruck, the Real St. Performance guy got told turn the boost down, and really play yourself up for the camera. You can tell when someone is acting...horribly.

I don't think I asked if they were compensated for their appearances. I wouldn't think so, they probably(just guessing) just wanted to be on national t.v. and run against a street outlaw even if they were down on power to see where they matched up.

^Thats why I hate most reality shows nowadays and that is why these networks are failing and desperate. People would rather watch Youtube channels and Netflix.

Also it's funny how they claim to be the "king of the streets" and claim their cars are street cars yet they tow them to the races, run ridiculous fat slicks, and wouldn't live through your average traffic jam. Show is BS and stupid IMO but sweet 1g.

Heard of 50 lbs boost and though that was a bunch (4G63-powered dragster). Now there is this one that runs 70. What's next, 100 lbs?
And yes, Nate355RS, he did say the engine has a stock head.

...60lbs of boost, but usually in the 70s...Jesus.

I wonder what kind of boost they are seeing on the line then? Realistically, what's the car leaving at?

Also, how damn long does it take that turbo to spool up to 70psi? No mention of N2O that I saw? Becuz automatic I guess :idontknow:

Don't know if you guy are aware of it but Brent Rau has run up to 86psi through the 4G63.

Nope, I didn't know that. That's pretty amazing.

I suppose that leads me to my next question: I'm assuming this is a methanol car...Judging by the lack of a free flowing front air dam and intercooler.

The car was at the shootout this past month, but don't think it raced much due major failure in the head they were running. But I think some of the description was just B/S just to see if they would believe it. Brent Rau also used to make 1400hp + back in the day as well.

I didn't see any lines plumbed for N2O, but I'd imagine he is. His catch can and what I guess is his coolant overflow are both bigger than my intercooler. I love how his custom fabbed stuff is curved so it fits the shape of the bumper.
