after replacing bent valves and reassembling the engine, i now have a cranking no start. i have spark, good compression, timing good, 0 fuel pressure on my AFPR gauge. i have fuel to the rail but my injectors are not spraying. they do have proper continuity. i replaced the crank sensor, and resistor pack is in spec. please help.

Have you check pulse at the injector lines,,,,
Do you have the injector resistor connected.

Gives more information on what was happening why it stop working and what exactly you did to the engine.

Check the fuel pump and see if the O ring is good otherwise can be leaking the pressure by the O ring, also check your afpr, it can be leaking too.

having spark will mean your mfi relay is working. jump the pump and see if that will work. is it does, look at your crank sensor. the fuel pump will prime for a few seconds, but after that only the crank sensor tells the ecu to run the pump. if thats good, look at the ecu

well my pump is working, as i do have fuel going to the rail as i crank it over. and i just replaced the crank sensor and no luck still.

can i upload vids on here? i tried but its not showing any videos when i click upload a file. i was going to put up a vid i just took of my fuel pump when i turn the key to the on position. i dont here any whine or any noise indicating the pump priming...which is confusing me because i have fuel to the rail.

If you have zero fuel pressure you do not have fuel. Jump the pump and see if it primes up. If it doesnt thats where you need to start. Fuel pump will also not fire when cranking if ecu doesnt get a cas signal.

not a chance because i didnt unplug it when i tore apart the head. i just removed the bracket from the head with the sensor still attached to it. when i replaced it i plugged in same spot. i posted a short log in my first post of me trying to crank a couple times. my battery is pretty much dead trying to figure this out.

i took out my cruise control and installed a non cruise throttle cable, i left the wires in the harness though. could that cause this issue?

is my cam sensor supposed to have any continuity between any of the points? because i checked all the points and there was 0 continuity

Again....if that gauge reads zero you do not have fuel. Rule out the fuel pump. Then if you have fuel but not while cranking you have a signal issue or ecu issue.

jump the pump and see what your gauge says. crank sensor turns fuel pump on and runs ignition signals to the ecu. cam sensor signals the injectors to spray. test the mfi/mpi relays to make sure theyre working. if they are look into your ecu

what do you mean by jump the pump

Youve got link. Log some things. See if injectors fire. Etc etca.
im not very familiar with link, when i was logging my cranking i tried to find anything related to fuel or injectors but couldnt, so i dont know how to log the injectors firing

jump the pump like put power to the pump without the car controlling it. just a 12v wire to the pumps power wire
