Hi im new to this forum. I just picked up a 99 eclipse with the 420a. it was overheating when i bought it so i replaced the thermostat lastnight, and after letting the gasket sealer cure for a bit i was going to start it to burp the system of any air. Went to start and it sputters has very low idle and motor shakes. I tested the coil pack and it tested fine. the plugs are new and i pulled the spark plug closest to the passenger side it had unburnt fuel on it.

make sure everything is plugged in and right firing order. you could test the ecu. test the resistance in the injectors. one may be leaking

How do I go about testing the ecu? Firing order is correct. And how do I test injectors?
