First off, my grammar or sentence may be bad. Im done installing new fmic intercooler and big 16g, and fuel lab fpr. Now it finally start and i took it for road test. When i took off and trying to make boost, the boost gauge stay 0 so i figure that i got boost leak. I did the boost leak tester and found the boost leak. One is on j pipe, vrsf did bad job welding leaving tiny small hole on flange weld area. I email them 3 days ago but no response so i have to find someone who can weld aluminum. Anyway, while i was doing boost leak tester, i spray soapy on fpr, it does bubble up on top adjusting bolt and side fitting for vaccum, i try tighten up but still bubble up.

So having fpr bubble up after i spray on it, does it cause boost leak?

Having small tiny hole on j pipe and fpr (or if fpr normal) can make boost gauge stay 0?

You probably have a lot more leaks than that. On the afpr try using some Teflon tape and don't forget to set your base fuel pressure back.
Is this an aftermarket boost gauge? How high are you testing? No throttle body or injector seal leaks?

Okay i will try out with teflon tape, well my throttle body also bubble up very slowly even i put new gasket. I will try unbolt and tighten it again to see what happen. I havent check on injector seal yet, I will check on that with soapy during boost leak tester tomorrow. I have a good innovate boost gauge if u wonder.

Where is the throttle body bubbling? Sure it isn't the shaft seals? I always check my gauge when testing to see how high I get. Did everything work fine before the intercooler install?

Between the throttle body and first upper intercooler pipe (4 bolts). Vrsf sending me new J pipe so im waiting for that. What you mean shaft seal?, Turbo seal? I spray on turbo compressor and nothing bubble up so I guess it good. I haven't check how high I get while trying boost it, I will do that once I get my J pipe.

No he is talking about the Thottle Body shaft seals on the ends of the shaft. They are notorious for leaking and everybody replaces them since most are old and hard and don't seal properly. Those seals are not found on non-forced induction cars.
