So i have a 98 eclipse rs non-turbo 2.0L and found out my manifold is leaking and a crack on the top and someone tryed to welding the crack so i was going to replace it finding this out. Anyways i was wonding what year can fit on my car? I was going to go to a junk yard for a new one. Would i be better off replacing my whole exhaust system? Cuz i have a hole in my muffler too

You can get a manifold from any 94-99 NT eclipse , but not from the spyder. You could replace the whole exhaust but its not going to do much in terms of performance. You may also have trouble passing smog without the stock exhaust manifold if they do visual checks for smog where you are.

What does NT stand for? Did you mean GT?

If it is a gst or gsx it will be turbocharged if it's a rs or gs will be nt unless modified of course

I had read online
"To know whether it's a turbo or not, look for the pulleys and belts. If they're on the left hand side (when you're looking at the engine bay), it's a non-turbo. If they're on the right hand side, chances are you have a turbo." Is this right? I would think so cuz my pullys are on the left and so is the car at the junk yard so i should be good

That Is essentially correct .
Rs,gs have the 420a engine with accessory belt on the left.

Gst, gsx have the 4g63 engine and is in simple terms opposite.

Another thing is to look at the dash cluster as the turbo models have different accessory gauges.

Or..................you could just look for a turbocharger hanging off the exhaust manifold. That would be a good indicator if it is a turbo model or not.

Well that wouldn't work cuz the whole inside is gone LOL

sure

Look at your engine , the 420a which is what you have looks very different from the 4g63. If it doesn't look like yours and the belts are on the opposite side than its not a 420a. You can also get the manifold from a 95-99 Dodge Avenger or Chrysler Sebring that has the 420a.
