ok had to pull the head and replace bent valves. finally ready to put back in car. i am trying to get all the timing ready so its quick install, however im stuck on one part. the crankshaft pulley is coming off almost all the way but its hitting the frame. i pulled the side mount and lowered the engine as far as it could go but it still needs another inch or so to clear... Anyone have some insight? please anything would be nice, as this is the only thing holding me back right now.

i am an idiot, i just realized i can pull one pulley at a time instead of both of them together...cant try it now as its too dark, but if anyone wants to post and confirm that this is how its supposed to be done?

crank pulley.
and i only removed the center bolt, so the pulleys are pulling out as one. and they hit the frame, i drop the engine and its not enough space still. so i am just going to undo the 4 bolts and pull the pulleys off 1 at a time.

The pulleys dont seperate, its one piece. If you pull the center bolt out then you are trying to remove the cam sprocket with the harmonic dampener and that will never go. Remove the four outer bolts from the dampener and leave the center bolt in and you should be good to go.

yeah haha i realized this after the sun went down and i called it a day. ill tackle this tomorrow.
