So I will be swapping my 90 gsx manual to auto, but I want to make sure that when I'm acquiring parts that I'm picking up the right ones. I know 90 manual transmissions are different then other years, so I'm wondering if/what I would need specifically if I were to put in a different year auto trans. I understand that there is different spline counts on the transfer case on different years, and I would like to do a later 1g trans and 4 bolt LSD, but I am wondering what I would need in order to do this swap. Do all automatic transmission mount the same in 1g's(I know mount is different from manual)?
Thanks in advance,

Shit I'll set up a trade. I'm seriously thinking, probably will, make the manual to auto conversion. 3rd gear grinds anyways. Haha

I'll check out that atdsm.com. Thanks guys.
Cheers

90 and 91 dsms share the three bolt rear diff 92 and up are all 4 bolts as for the swap you will need all three components trans, t case, and rear diff. I would search for a 92-94 donor car and go from there you will also need the tcu and harness as well. 92-94 dsms will also have 23 spline t case as well which is the stronger of the 2. And yes all auto trans for 1g's share the same bolt patterns.
