So my car is almost ready for some track testing. Ride height from the new coil overs needs to be set before I start to corner balance.

650F 500R springs, 255 Dunlop Star Specs ( 180 treadwear ) tires on 17*9 et 27. I have to roll the rear quarters this weekend as they will contact the fender lip. Active toe delete, poly bushings not much else for suspension mods ( cant as this is raced in chump car )

Seems that center of the wheel to fender lip is 15.5 inch stock ride height from what I managed to google. I should run lower I imagine. Anyone have a guideline for a track setup that's sprung pretty stiff?

Alignment specs? I have camber pretty much figured out and will tweak that with tire temps, I have a bunch of extra castor, its toe I don't know what to start with.

1/8" out front. Perhaps some 1g track drivers can chime in, but if they don't, do the zero in the rear and see how the rear feels under braking and if it's a bit unstable for your liking go 1/16" in as the next step.

Thanks , that's what my toe was set 1/8 front 1/16 rear before the new struts\springs. But I will need to redo when I lower the car. Car had push but was stable. My new stiffer springs ( more so in rear ) hopefully balance the car better.

I do need a starting point for ride height :( and I tried bouncing the car, its pretty stiff and I cant move it much, that doesn't mean I wont have a bunch of suspension travel on the track though.

I can measure my ride height from the center of the wheel to the fender, I don't remember what it was. Here's a photo of what it looked like that last time it was on a track.

I didn't lower it too much because I hadn't done anything to correct for roll center. I was running roughly 2.5 degrees negative camber in the front and -1 degree in the rear (probably should have been running more negative). I think toe was very close to OEM specs but it's been a while since I set it. I'd probably shoot for 1/8" front. I also have the RRE camber plates in front that are offset for castor.
