I recently build and swapped a 6 bolt into my 98 gsx with a green top Cas in it and ecmlink v3 and I have a decent base tune on it.
I just can't figure out where the miss is coming from. The car runs fine at 65on the highway but you take it above and it starts to miss and the Afr's go lean anywhere from 15 to 18.
What could it be dead times? The less accurate Cas(I've read it's caused others this problem)? Spark being blown out highly doubt it's this but a possibility.. Let me know what you think.

Misfires shouldn't be VSS specific.... I'd start there by eliminating the fact that it does it at a certain speed. My guess is that this is RPM/Boost/Tune dependent issue. What does the car do in a lower gear at the same RPM it gets to 65mph in 5th gear? No misfire?

I'll take it out and log right now and post it I didn't see a miss in 3rd at 45 at 3100 rpms

Man can those not be exported to a universal format that doesn't require proprietary software to be installed? CSV files can open in any spread sheet. I'm sure that software can export in that format, and if it cannot.... it should.

While the software is "proprietary", it is free to download for anyone from ECMLinks website. Part of the draw of ECMLink is the fantastic UI. I can't imagine looking at that amount of data in a CSV format.

You're splitting hairs here. It's not a matter of your preference or my preference. It's about allowing people to use whatever they want to view the data.
