Nice! That's what I like to hear. I am glad to see it made a good showing for everyone. Sounds great in the video! :D :hellyeah:

Nice set up, my set up is almost identical to yours. I have two questions, why didnt you go with the jmf drag intake manifold instead of the race model>?(just windering) Also at 35psi whats the peak timing you are running? Thanks.

Numbers look about base to what I made also. @ 32psi on boostin performance mustang dyno I made 484hp, car has ross pistons(stock compression), eagle H beams, s2 cams, magnus SMIM, ported fp race mani+ported hotside. I ran into injector issues, if I would have quality injector I'm guessing I could have milked out around 510-520 @38-40psi(decided to stay low boost for reliability). I see full boost at 4800-4900 but power band hits full power within 400rpm and still climbs all the way out to 8200.

I'm running basically the same setup as you FP Black guys. Ported Black with ported FP Race mani, HKS 272, built 2.0 with 9.5:1 CR, FIC1450cc, wally 450 pump, stock IM, etc. Mine is hitting 20psi by 4400 RPMs and I running 14* peak on e85, 26psi max boost right now. Link is showing 47lb/min and 521HP. I'm guessing the HP number is off a little from the 47lb/min. I'm about to turn it up to 30psi and see what she'll do. I really need a SMIM though. Guess that'll have to wait till tax time. I'm loving this setup though. My goal is a 10.99 1/4mi time. Can't wait till the track opens here!

Congrats on the 600HP dyno! That's awesome.

10.8 Time Slip.jpg 10SecBay.jpg launch engaged.jpg Well I finally got the car into the Tens! Went 10.88@136 this last weekend at IFO ! Went to the track a couple time this year already but couldn't quite get that ten second pass, mostly due too traction off the line, and some poor boost recovery between gears. I upgraded the throttle body to a 70mm S90, and could instantly noticed a difference in throttle response, felt great, time to hit the track and try again... First few passes, couldn't hook up, but last attempt I peddled it perfect and hooked good. Knew right then that if I hit all my shifts I was getting it. Made a clean pass and did it! haha. The car is finally where I want it... drive it to the track a little over an hour away, run 10 second passes on all season tires, and drive home. This car is officially a ten second car that I can daily drive year round.

That's fantastic! 10s is my goal too. I've been practicing at my local 1/8mi track but am not close enough on the 1/8mi to drive an hour to the 1/4mi yet. Can you share your launch setup? 2step only? what RPM? anti-lag? My best 60' so far is 1.96 so I need a lot of work there. How much boost are you able to build at the line?

Man I'm not sure why mine bogs off the line. I'm launching at 5750 building 6-8psi and it bogs as soon as I'm off the clutch. I'm gonna give it a go tomorrow night if the car cooperates. I have nitrous to help me out now :)

yes still running the comp stage 4 clutch. I haven't had any issues so i'd say its holding up really well. I do want to get a twin disk next though whenever this clutch cant hang anymore.
Push that comp as far as you can. I didn't really enjoy the twin for a street car. I might have to try one of the comps after all the trouble I have has with ACT.

Bad news for me since I just got act 2600. Will be running a jb fp black with similar setup. What issues? What clutch should I be looking for?

Might just be you have better tires or your track is prepped better.

Been a long while since my old car with the 35r but I think I finally ended up with a 6500rpm launch rpm.

Damn it...........right after i delivered the engine to my builder doing my awd swap, should've ordered a smim!. I was eyeing that Black as it sat all mounted up and pretty in it's new ceramic coating and thinking 'man, this thing is TINY, why did i stay dsm flanged again?'
After reading this i feel a bit better though i wish i would've just ordered a jmf drag mani or whatever the best SMIM they sell. Money not an issue. I suppose i'll dyno it with the stock 2g(ported to match 60mm 1g TB) and then tear it off and do a SMIM.
I am going through a highly built auto trans, my number will be lower than yours, no question. But if i can hit 500 or 550 with a smim i will be happy.
The only difference is that i don't really have an exhaust to speak of. It's very very short, full 3".
I just look at the turbo and i can see this thing being a beast in a newer twin scroll evo housing but the dsm housing is miniscule.

Really nice ride man, congrats on the 10s. That's not easy. Those didn't look like slicks, you made the quick pass on street tires?? If so, dude, go buy some 15s and a set of slicks. I mean, if your rear diff/tcase is ready for some abuse LOL

I ran a comp stage 4 and loved it. Very heavy pressure plate but it held and shows nearly zero wear after 4500 miles.
You'll see it in the classifieds with tons of other parts soon enough

This was a fun read good job mate! Hows the car holding up?
