I'm new to having a turbo car. I was trying to figure out what the shift points would be. Do I shift right before red line and is this OK to do in first gear as well?

Oh ok I gotcha. I believe the guy that I bought it from said it had two setting or something like that. He said 15 and 21 but when I got the car is was boosting 15psi.. So in other words I need to buy another turbo actuator? Will one from ebay work?Don't get on it. Its lean because it's not tuned for 20psi or 25psi.
If you want to run 25psi you need to get tuned for 25 psi. You can then run 25psi and below. And you mean the wastegate actuator? Post some pictures please.Oh ok I gotcha. I have a t25 turbo but I have a 255 Walbo fuel pump, a tune, front mount pretty much all the supporting modes I think. Doesn't the 16g just bolt right up anyway. Please do not run a 16g on a stock fuel system. A 16g at 7 psi makes more power and airflow that a t25 or a 14b at 7psi. If you plan on running a larger turbo. You first need a fuel system. A tune. Intercooler. Etc. Always do supporting mods first.
