So as the title says, i've searched and searched but can't seem to find a post that helps.
I know that the sensor plugs into the hole after the exhaust manifold but what is stumping me is where the actual connector goes to that goes into the engine bay. The o2 sensor has been hanging and was tied to an AC line the whole time i've had the car and now its smog time and i need to connect it or i won't pass, so any help would be greatly appreciated!

It's inside the car. Just follow the O2 sensors wiring till you get to the rubber grommet. Remove that and pull the wire out more till you see connector.
I know the o2 sensor after the Catalytic converter goes into the frame under the driver seat but what im trying to look for is the upstream sensor connection plug, The one before the Cat. I cant follow the wiring because it wasnt connected when i originally bought the car :(.

How has the car even been running correctly?!?!? It needs that sensor!

If your wiring is stock and untouched the O2 wires are in the line that goes over the valve cover by the oil fill and then down by the power steering and AC pumps. The O2 connector is square and has 5 or 6 pins. Can't remember exactly how many off the top of my head.

:ohdamn:

You should have fixed this problem first thing when you bought the car. Seriously. It's so simple to do, at that. The upstream O2 sensor allows the ECU determine the correct A/F ratio, without it the car was running off the fuel map preset in the ECU.

I mean i would have fixed it if i knew it wasn't even plugged in the whole time. No CEL and the car was running the whole time i've had it. I didn't realize it wasn't plugged in until i removed the whole echaust system OMG

Where you able to find the connector? I have the same issue and very bad mileage and idling problems just got the car and when replacing the brake pads I noticed the dangling wire, does anyone have a diagram or pictures?

very much appreciated.
