I need to repair my driveshaft and the only part that i can't find is the rubber "boot" of the lobro. Where I can find/buy that part? Thanks

Yeaps! I've searched and found that JNZ don't have that on stock. I thought the boot is sold separately.

I purchased just the boot for a 1G a few years back when I rebuilt my drive shaft. It was not on the site so I called and JNZ was able to get it. Try calling for hard to find parts and they may be able to help.

You can get a whole new joint from the dealer for around $300 from what I understand. But you probably don't want to do that. They should sell the boots too my buddy just replaced the boot in his 2G with an oem one.

And don't forget jafro's series on driveshaft rebuilding (something I'll be doing this weekend, all u-joints, new yoke, etc)

I just refreshed my driveshaft in february....
I purchased the driveshaft rebuild kit from JNZ tuning (includes the carrier bearings, transfer case tail seal, insulators and 3 transfer case recall kits where you take the u-joints from) ....

I also bought the boot kit for the lobro, and at least in february, JNZ had it available...

What they didn't have was the lobro itself...

I wanted to replace the lobro as well, but I wasn't able to find the Mitsubishi one...

In Jafro's videos he mentions the possibility of using a VW lobro instead, especially because VWs lobros are around $50.... but by doing some research I found out apparently the lobro installed in 1Gs and 2Gs are different from any VW's lobro... I actually purchased one from BusDepot (94 mm outside diameter, the same outside diameter as the Mitsubishi one) and unfortunately the axle was around 3mm thinner in the Mitsubishi one, and the teeth count different as well (33 in the VW one, and 23 in the Mitsubishi one)....

At the end I cleaned my lobro as good as I could and I used Redline's joints grease and re-installed it back...

Was a PITA to repair the whole driveshaft and the lobro was messy as hell. But finally I got almost a new driveshaft. I've changed the ujoints and carrier bearings as well.
Thank to all :)
