So I've been reading that some (non ms users) that are boosting 15psi and up are moving the intake temp sensor to the compressor outlet so it reads higher temps to retard ignition timing... Wouldn't this retard the ignition significantly in the lower boost range and normal driving conditions as well? (Where you don't want ignition retard?) Just wondering what everyone's thoughts are on this.. I'm using water/meth and SplitSec 8 injector setup for up to 20psi. Seems like a shotty way of doing things... How effective is the stock ecu at pulling timing?
