Those are not for the Plymouth Laser but rather for the Chrysler Laser. The font is consistent with the Chrysler Laser of the 80s. The Plymouth Laser never used that font in its badging or literature.

I don't think you'll be able to paint them properly.. First, it would need to be rubberized so that it flexes with the plastic, but durable enough not to chip as they're designed to take a beating. Any chips would show bright white. Really, you'd need to dye them deep, if not all the way through.

For the investment you might as well just get a pair that fits close enough and modify, if you're looking for flaps. If it's only the name, well, nobody wants to remember the Chrysler Laser of the 80s not that it shares anything in common anyway besides the name. Hah.

Have you tried fitment?

it fits pretty well that i can tell I need another person so i can see them better but ill make em work when were prepping my car for paint ,And gotta love the 80's laser(wonder why they even called my car a plymouth laser?)

ive always liked cars like the labaron, delorian ,240sx, celica, fiero (my bro had a fiero everything was good but the drive train ) some of the 80's cars are cool but everything really went down hill in the 80's. im glad i grabed my laser for a whopping 800$ never heard of dsms till it caught my eye on kijiji and now im hooked haha ( i see a gimli track car in my near future talon tsi or an eclipse 1g of course )

i was just thinking of useing that plastic flexible primer and paint and rock gaurd on the backs by the wheels to help it not wear out to fast theres some talon mud flaps on a awd part out to bad I have a laser ill be the test if it works out haha

gotcha. lots of 80s (to 90s) era cars were great, I agree.. just not the daytona and laser haha. but if they float your boat, rock on. you could always paint your car white

Lmfao black and red is my favorite color scheme I acually don't like white cars but yeah I want the ralley look since my cars a ralley sport I think it could be done don't mind trying it out to see since I got them for free might even learn a life lesson haha jk

I really hope that I end up doing her justice, and I'm upset that I'm waiting to see that Talon. I can't wait til you get that bamf going. Any help you might need, I would love to help just for the learning opportunities.

The turbo should be back in a week or so then I need to put my new injectors in so I may hit you up and see if you want to watch/help while I do it. Then we get to play on the laptop to get the injectors set up. It would all be good for you to see and help when you can.
