Got this "16g hotside" In a trade, and was wondering if it's any good, and if it'll work for my setup seems to be a little rust and an attempt to remove the broken stud. Tyere also doesn't seem to be a hole for the wastegate pin. This is my current turbo set up: http://www.dsmtuners.com/threads/16g-help.488822/

So my question is this the right type of housing and will it even work, there's a few uneven bumps near broken bolt I'd have to get it machined flat, but also seems to fit up kind of weird with the 02 (aftermarket housing (pics) but seems to be a bit better on the stock 02.

That's an eBay/knock-off 16G turbine housing. They actually flow pretty well(as good as a ported 7cm2 MHI housing) and they are surprisingly well at resisting cracks, and are a great solution if you can't find an MHI 7cm2 housing. As far as the 02 housing, I'd use the OEM 02 housing, or get a 2G 02 housing and port the hell out of it.

Knockoff (Chinese) 16G housings are hit-or-miss. I've seen some that held up fine and were actually more-durable than a MHI housing regarding resistance to cracking...and I've seen some that eroded so horribly that they couldn't be used after just one year of being on a car. Just hope you got one of the good ones.

Be sure to port that wastegate hole before you put it on the car of you'll have zero control of boost.
