Hell yea i will put that next on the list hey i have a question tho my friend wants to sell me a 16g to slap on the talon but i just bought a spar t25 should i go for the 16g

I think you should spend your money on fixing the current issues with the car and then take care of any/all preventative maintenance. Than you can talk about buying upgrades…just my .02

Go with maintenance first for sure. If it's a good deal on the turbo I would defiantly get it and save for when I am ready. But sounds like your on the right track. Have you done a timing belt? Or know when it was done?

My advice, which sounds like a lot of the other guys advice on here, maintenance first. Everyone wants to bash DSM because there always seems to be a problem. You have to take into consideration that these cars are getting up to 15-20 years old. Hoses, and gaskets are going to corrode and thing are going to leak. Before you start slapping on parts and turning up the boost, make sure everything else is 100%.

Best thing i ever bought for my car was a 25$ Hanes manual, you could even go and find the service manual. That thing turned into a bible for me basically. Preventative maintenance now will save you money in the long run.

truns out my car already had a 16g on it but it was all f***ed up and put on with no gasket

Do all your radiator/coolant hoses, replace the brakes if they're rusty (stopping is important too!) and don't neglect the timing belt.. that will be the death of you! Also remember that one of the best mods you can do to your car early on is a good tune.
