On a Jet Plane,
Illinois
I cannot seem to find any real clear information on this, nor any photos, so perhaps the wonderful world of tuners could help me out here, since I am completely new to the world of larger turbos.
The Green XL I have doesn't clear the main water pipe, or the smaller line for the oil cooler. The car is on the FP manifold, as well. We did manage to dent the main pipe a tad, and got the compressor housing to clear. But now, still dealing with the oil cooler line. We are contemplating making one from a new piece of pipe. I really don't want to delete the oil cooler, as I have seen that as an option in some searches. Has anyone else run into this issue?
Also, for the turbo itself, I am using mitsu lines. However, I noticed that the 16g pulled from the car has lines from the T25 style, as when I went to order new ones, ordered them for a 1g (aka mitsu turbo style) and they are different. I forgot what i ordered so many years ago! So my question is, what option works better? I suppose I can let all these parts come in and play around with them to get the best fitment. So kinda just looking for suggestions as to what others have done and what seems to work best overall. I seem to be confusing myself, now...
Thanks!
