Just had to give my experience on my car breaking up after a hairline crack on intake manifold was fixed. I didn't realize it but It has always had a boost leak on it since i got it polished. so I fianlly get it fixed and I took a vid of the car idling and posted it on Fb. Noticed then how everyone commented on how loud the pumps were and people said the same thing in person.

Well while out tuning we had no idea what boost it would go to. did a 3rd gear pull but didnt expect what happened. see video.

car violently broke up at 26psi. Logs showed at 6k afr was 13:1 and at 6600rpm afr was 17:1 and timing and everything just looked crazy!! it just dint make any sense. in car fuel pressure meter looked fine. Come to find out it was my pre Bosch 044 fuel filters. both were clogged. It was stressing the pumps out and that was why they were so loud. Clooged just enough not to flow enough past 20psi. I cleaned them and did a pull to see if it would break up. The the next night went out and did a 45mph roll in 3rd. It hit 36-37psi untuned for wot Pig rich with 7.8* peak timing!!! Doesnt even seem like 9500rpm. Lifted and got crazy swirly! Still spinning all 4 past 9500rpm LOL!!

I was checking my logs and i'm do a before and after. This vid is an older 2step pull. just want people to see this LOL. Now this log is going to sound a lil crazy and not add up ok LOL. so pay close attention. This is with the older 67mm wheel and leaking intake manifold. At 6.5k...4.8psi, at 6.7k...12.64psi, 8k 30psi = 693whp. and in this vid 3rd gear I let off at 8.5k

now this thread vid. 6.5k..31psi, 6.7k..35psi and it looks like thats where boost is and boost creeps up to 36/37psi in upper rpms with 7.8* peak timing.

got car to dyno and ran into ignition issues. arc2 went bad just before the 1st dyno then put on new coils and ngk wires and went back. plugs gapped to 17 car starts off awesome then right after full boost got spark blowout. but the unclean number gives a strong indication of some serious power to be made at 38psi. Can you guess what it put down breaking up LOL? Got M&W pro 12 cdi now so vid of full clean pull coming soon LOL.

M&W ignition wired to stock coils and NGK wires. It does not break up on full boost and pulls like a freight train. It evens sounds different idling. Hope to be hitting the rollers the coming week.
