Awesome, A year later post....

So anyway, what all did you do to change the sensor signals? I bought a new cluster that I finally received today, 2014 Accord coupe (V6), and I'm sure I'll be needing to do something very similar to get it to function properly with the DSM's sensors.

Autometer Tach Converter for the Tach.
Modifry ECT for the coolant temp.
Speedohealer for the speedo.

Good luck getting that to work, neat looking cluster.

I've got the S2000 cluster mounted into the dash now, electronics are all hidden behind it.

I'll finish the cluster bezel at a later date.

Thanks. I started messing with it more last night and got it in pretty good. Should also be able to retatin the factory bezel with minor modification. I saw all those components mentioned throughout your posts, and looked for them on Google. All I could find were motorcycle parts. Is that what you used?

The speedohealer is a motorcycle thing.
I got your pm, I'll reply when I get on my computer as I have all the info saved there and not on my tablet.

Sweet. Sounds good. Was only curious on the speedohealer since I couldn't find anything for car applications. But if it works, who am I to argue. Will wait patiently for your other reply. Thanks for the help.

You might not even need the Speedohealer, it all depends on signal that the cluster your swapping is looking for. The S2000 (at the time) was the only Honda running a higher signal thus needing the Speedohealer to convert the stock VSS signal to something the cluster could read.

A lot of the leg work was done for the S2000 cluster swap since it's been done in Hondas.

Try finding a FSM for that model year Accord online or even going into the Honda dealer and talking to a mechanic. All the information about the VSS should be in the manual.

Well, I am a tech at one of the local Honda dealerships, which is how I got the cluster for cheap :D
I'm not a Honda fan, but it's a job. For Hondas newer than 2006 I think, Honda stopped making hard copy FSMs and has gone full digital. I did locate the location for the wiring diagrams for the Accord cluster. Sadly though, I got to view it once and haven't been able to open it since because our system at work sucks. So periodically I check back to see if it can gain access again, but nothing yet :(

wow this is awesome. i thought of doing this many years ago but abandoned the idea. congrats

Very impressive, its easily my 2nd favourite cluster available for the 2g.

Is there a reason why that gauge is preferred? Seems like 3 years of tinkering isn't worth it to me. Thats just my opinion not trying to knock you or nothing.

though of doing the s2k swap in my Integra about 4 years ago when I was Into the honda game ;) S2k clusters were a bit more expensive before than now. I'm still a fan of it. Cool project

I don't know why so many people don't like the honda instrument clusters, If you asked me I'd say it's about time the dsm world took something from honda guys, all these years and we're still seeing blue top 450 injectors in civics, this just might make up for it LOL

does anyone have pictures of the clusters lighted at night?

My Accord cluster project is on hold since I can't find a wire schematic since the cluster is so new, and I don't have a pigtail for it and the only way to get one without finding a wrecked one is to buy the entire wire harness. Gonna be a while til mine is even started.

eyt man, what happen with your s2000 cluster?????
do you have video?????
