Hey guys, so here's my next problem.

Ever since I bought the car, the ABS light has been on. I have read that it will stay on if the vehicle speed sensor goes out. And that was the case for me. Today I put in a new speed sensor, but the light is still there. I have tried pulling the battery, but the light is still there. I have also tried reading the ABS code by grounding certain OBDII pins like I've read about on some forums here. Supposedly when you ground those certain pins, the ABS light is supposed to blink a certain way, and that's how you identify what the code is. But mine doesn't blink in any of those ways. It just sort of comes on and stays there.

Any ideas are greatly appreciated. Thanks again guys!

It should be on the ABS ECU which is attached to the side of the ABS hydraulic pump unit (has brake lines going into it) which is near the power steering reservoir. But if you're not getting the codes it's academic. Do you actually have ABS or you don't and the light is stuck on? If you don't have ABS there are 2 abs fuses in engine fusebox you can remove.

As far as I know, I do have ABS, but it's not working. I tried pressing on the breaks this winter and my ABS was definitely not functioning properly. So should I just pull the fuses then? Would that cause my ABS to completely not work?

usually the abs motor goes bad . try powering up the abs motor on the l/f of the car . if you don't hear it run then that's your problem .

Well a surefire way would be to remove the bulb but it's messy to pull the dash gauge cluster. Just how crazy are you? You could try unplugging the ABS ECU which would probably do it but then the ABS wouldn't work and if you don't want ABS you really should delete the whole thing. Working non-ABS will stop the car much better (and is safer and more reliable) than non-working ABS.
