Punishment. Retained fog lights and crash beam
When you did your PR FMIC did you have to pull the head lights? Also what did you do with the power steering "cooler line"?
Planning on doing a huge parts install in the next few weeks and trying to get my checklist together as not to run into any unknowns. I will only have the weekend and my DSM is my only daily driver.
Nope! Didn't touch the ps lines either. Install is pretty straight forward, there's a youtube video online if you want to keep the crush beam like me too.
Only issue was the coupler at the top that connects the elbow to the pipe with the BOV flange was kinda short. Ended up purchasing a longer one on eBay.
Cool. Thanks for the info. I have watched that YT vid too, many times . I'm the kind of guy that reads and watches install vids 100x. I've even read the Factory Service manual...for funzies
others have said it, vsr is a common choice, and yes you can have it re-enforced(trimming it). but, it will require cutting and fitting and re-cutting and re-fitting the bumper, its a pain, but its affordable. but cant use oem fog lights, but after-market will fit.i am looking to do a intercooler install here soon.
