Hey All,

Thought I would share an event I was a part of this past week. I went to the Mitty at Road Atlanta. For those who do not know, The Mitty is the nations largest HSR race. Pretty wild event with everything from vintage jaguars and Alfas to LMP cars.

Anyway, I took part in the GRM Skidpad challenge. I came in 8th overall behind tube frame cars and stripped mazda miatas on race slicks. I was pretty proud of the old Talon. It was alot of fun and will be back next year.

Excellent. People forget that Evos and 1G DSMs share a suspension design and are always surprised somehow when a 1G does good. These cars were champions back in the day.

Holy Moly, you need to talk to me about my 1g track car and spill some of your secrets ! I hit 1.2g max according to my traqdash last year

Wheels/Tires: 17x10 Mustang Cobra Wheels, Toyo RA1 275/40/17. The tires are pretty much on their last cycle before they get thrown away. The funny thing is I could have probably gotten another .5 g's out of thec ar with a set of fresh tires.

Suspension: BC, Full custom.

haha that's awesome that 9 yr old won it.

I'd probably be vomitting out the window at just shy of 1.9g lateral.

Great job, probably surprised a metric fk ton of people.

Wow, those are massive tires for a 1g dsm! How the heck do you fit those on it? Can I see pictures? I thought I was pushing it with my 255/40/17s.

The crazy thing is I have had 295/17 tires on the car in the past. It is currently higher than I would like, but lowering the car will require a significant amount of cutting.
