I have read every thread possible to try and figure this crap out and im left to post my issue

99 gst
2.3 stroker
Built head
Hks 272s
Fic 650's
Mhi e3 16g
Fmic

Ok so i had an issue after i built and installed my 2.3
Did a nasty burnout and ended up with flywheel bolts backed out of the flywheel. Well i thought it was either my bottom end or valve float so i pulled my head and built it with bc springs and ti retainers and newer good valves.
Put the car back togeather and installed a 3inch gm maf and 2.0maft
Here is where the misfire started
As soon as i hooked up the maft the car started missing so i removed it and re installed my 2g maf
And car ran fine or so i thought about 5 miles down the road i got a nasty misfire at cruising speed of 60, so i changed the cam sensor, crank sensor, tps, maf, power transistor and coils, drove down the road and again it started the misfire. Now when i say misfire i mean the car sounds like its running on 3 cylinders. I am stumped on what this can be. Ive tried 3 sets of wires and plugs with the gap at .28 can anyone tell me what the hell is going on, before the flywheel bolts backed out the car ran like a raped ape and pulled hard as hell. Now i will say if im running wide open and slamming gears it doesnt miss a beat but as soon as i back out of the gas and get back into it the misfire will immediately follow.
Any help is deffinetly useful

Do you have tuning/logging software? If not, I recommend getting some logs on your car as you idle/cruise and then as you beat on it.

Perhaps the logs can lead you to a solution that you aren't thinking of.

I agree with Jim95redgsx, I had this identical issue with a 1g CAS in my 2g. The misfire would go away after restarting the car, then it would come back after awhile. If you're using ECMLink, disable random misfire in the DTC tab I believe, and all your troubles will be gone.

Dsm pat on here does my tuning with open ecu and evo scan
No my build is a 7bolt 3 piece thrust so no 1g cas here,
As far as logs go im waiting for pat to get some free time to take a ride to my house to take a look and get a few logs...
Im wondering if trying the maft screwed up my ecu

Update....

After going one by one unplugging each sensor and plugging it back in i found my car runs regardless if the cam sensor is plugged in or not, in the past i had found the car wouldnt even start without the cam sensor plugged in or the steel pickup on point, now it starts and runs no matter if the pickup is on point or 180 out or with or without the cam sensor plugged in

What the hell is wrong?

Ok swapped my blackbox out for a 99 gsx blackbox and still have the same issues,
Car starts and runs without the cam sensor plugged in...
Car runs exactly the same with the cam sensor plugged in

Some help would be awasome.
Im getting so mad right now im almost ready to say screw this chassis and take m6 motor and put it in my 92 awd
