So how much would it roughly cost do this. I'm new to the eclipse . what would have to be done

So it would be easier just to build the 420a

Do you know where I could buy a 420a turbo that's bot running for cheap

* not running sorry

I've checked the classifieds Herr and couldn't find anything though a found a few 4g63 projects that I'm awaiting a response from

The 4g63 platform has a bit more potential than the 420a. It would be more cost effective to just get the car with more potential.

I understand that ...sounds easy just trying to find one for a good price is the hard part . do you know of any for a decent price doesn't have to be running

Craigslist will be your best bet. Widen your search as wide as you are willing to drive. I could take a while to find the right one depending on how picky you can afford to be. When you find it, jump quick as they don't tend to last long.

Man I almost had a running get for a 1000 last week but I needed 200 more dollars I didn't have

He still has it... I'm trying to get it .

He still has it I'm trying to see if I can get it now

He says something about a turbo needing reset

Or would it need a new turbo

How would I go about finding a wiring harness he says it needs a new one for some reason

look in the classified sections or get a haynes manual and build your own harness. There are always people selling turbos and there is also the turbo rebuilder jusmx411 , the best guy around. You dont sound mechanically inclined so take a mechanic you trust before you go to buy anything and get beat out of money or buy something that needs more work than you want to commit to. What is your budget and expectations of the car?So we can give you an Idea of what you will spend by the end of the venture

Turbo needs reBUILDING? You're not going to be able to get much of a car for $800. I'd save up at least $1500 and just keep searching classifieds here and your local Craigslist.

Lol dang man, that's kinda stereotypical saying I'm not mechanically inclined, I'm very much so mechanically inclined, mostly older muscle cars, hate wiring but I can do it. I just was trying to throw out a few post also I could become a proven member.
Here check it out if you wouldn't mind try calling him please and let me know what you think he's wants 2200 but I got him down to a 1000

if someone cuts more than half the price , sounds like sketch central.I said you don't sound mechanically inclined.Guy doesnt list any of the problems with the car usually hes hiding something. I would be done at that point myself."Dog for sale, has legs and tail" He hasnt bothered to list the mileage any of the modifications if any.Good luck with that I wouldnt waste my time but to each their own good luck

Automatic windows and locks? Duh LOL all cars have that. It may be stolen. I agree with dfootedsm, its seems fishy. And who knocks half off of their asking price????

If anybody actually clicked the reply button on the craigslist ad, you would notice the sellers name is Sarah. I'm not trying to stereotype here but percentage wise a lot of girls don't care to learn about cars. Of course plenty of women are mechanically great with cars, I'm just talking numbers. (There I think I covered my bases :D)

Yes I've noticed it she's a actually selling it for her brother. But a 1000 man kinda really hard to pass up trying,to see if I can get it lower

Just widen your search for a gsx or gst man, I had to travel over 3hrs to get mine. It's worth the travel..and a lot of times that's the only option
