I hear ya brother!

Thats the whole point. Once you put your numbers up there, what more can they say? It not hard to deduce once you've backed up your claims the naysayers will shut up.

Im all for being prideful of doing all your own work, but pride walks a fine line with arrogance. You have to remember, this is a DSM board where almost everybody here does everything themselves just like you.

However, as you say, everybody should be proud of their accomplishments and at the end of the day keep doing what your doing.

You happy with your car right then that's all that matters I am LOL

Come on man....why does Kel need to "back up" numbers that his car has obviously posted on a dyno....and you have a video-proof? You can't "make up" numbers on a universally used dynojet. You really think he would drive 2-3 hours to a dyno facility to post up fake numbers? That GST makes power. Respect it....even though you may not like the owner. Our cars are so hard on the glass drivetrain we unfortunately have. I think my old Talon went almost 4 years making over 600awhp+ without me removing the valvecover even once, but ate 4-5 trannies within the same period. Maybe he just wants to roll race and do other racing events that are kinder to the drivetrain? Does it matter? Take this from someone who religiously tracks his car. It is so fkn annoying breaking at the track every week or two from some driveline failure. My Galant makes over 700whp+ and hasn't even run 10's yet! That bothers the shit out of me, but I can't help it if I have limited time and anytime I track it some bs ujoint breaks or some other crap happens. Let's try to be respectful and not diminish other people's achievements. We should be doing the exact opposite.

Diamblo, I myself have 4 busted trannies i can post pictures later if any skeptic like to see. There are some things that need to be avoided if you have a high powered dsm, especially a high powered fwd dsm. I get a lot of text locally from guys saying bring it to the track and most of the time these are the same guys that gathered around the dyno and watched with their own two eyes what the car just put down. In this video below when I made the 728whp. I called the dyno operator and told him I was coming to dyno and wanted to see what some changes would net me.

This guy, which is my friend text a few people and told them kelvin is bringing the bearst and those that couldn't make it said video tape it, and later when he showed them the video, they was just plain dumb founded at how I drove to the dyno and very first pull netted 728whp I didn't even do a second pull I just took the car off the dyno and went home., most was just plain speechless and the haters was like take it to the track. Keltalon don't care I just bust em up whenever and wherever , these hard core v8 muscle guys here in the south aren't ready for a high power 4 cylinder import therefore they are going to hate and its to be expected, but when I get hate on the boards it is just plain hate driven by envy and ignorance. How in the world is a cabinets maker by trade is getting these results is puzzling, I do the dsm thing as a hobby I am not a auto technician but know how to put 2 and 2 together for results.:sneaky:

I am use to haters because most of the guys here in Atlanta ga are hard core v8 muscle guys and going to hate the high powered import 4 cylinder regardless, that's why I eat 'em up with the utmost satisfaction you catch my drift. I been doing this for over 12 years in the dsm community and longer locally, its to the point now when I say do what you do its a free country and keltalon will do keltalon LOL.. Reputation is to the point nothing to prove. another thing is the dyno operator commented on how it was a clean pull no smoking after the pull and his words indicates a well built engine with more potential for power, this was confirmed later with the 809whp pull which was just as clean to many times I see people get on the dyno and the car smokes like a train after the pull is just sad in my book. Hats off to the cabinets maker who put the combination together all I can say.

Yo Kels keep doing your thing and like JAy Z says just brush it off your shoulder. You will never and I say never shut down the naysayers especially since they will always try to interpret your intentions through subjective means via the Internet.

I know I have learned a lot from you and appreciate your advice which has so far worked for me and I have no doubt will continue and I never once sensed any arrogance or disrespect from you personally nor on the boards. If it were the case I would be the first to tell you if it were so!

Be proud of your accomplishments with your dsm and keep on posting because there are the silent ones and the active ones that follow your progress who find the board informative ,lively and entertaining when you post. Appears to me that the mods feel the same way.
You have not broken any rules so do your thing and make that nice ignore button your friend!! Ya heard!! Do your thing!!!!!!

I promise I have one more power trick up my sleeve. Been testing some new things out on the car yesterday and today still working a few bugs out and can't wait to put her back on the dyno one more time:D

So? its going on three months  where are you at with the updates Sir????? LOL I just wanted to say, awesome numbers despite what the haters have to say. If you want to brag, then brag! your car and the numbers back you up. The worse thing you can do is let them get the best of you. Your car is something to be proud of, even if it takes 1000 times on the dyno. You cant achieve perfection in just one try. Keep up the good work bro, and shake them haters off:hellyeah:
I dont think you have ever been arrogant nor disrespectful.

Thanks for the advise it means a lot!:thumb: Yeah I have been playing around at the track here lately with the street car. Manage to put out some decent time but do plan on going back soon to solidify a true 10 sec street fwd. Good read here http://www.dsmtuners.com/threads/keltalon-track-day.490326/

Nice to see people actually pushing the SSX w/ B-series SBC clutch to the limits! Being on the dyno, or at the track with slicks you will see the clutch slip at these power levels but it should hold on the street.

If you are calculating TQ at the crank, I would venture to see around a 19% drivetrain loss, so if its currently at 608TQ at front wheels, it is around 720TQ at crank. Pretty much near the limits on the dyno or track for the clutch.

If you are looking for the next step, I would do my Quarter Master gear-drive twin disk assembly on my street FWD flywheel. Total clutch weight is still plenty streetable, around 23 pounds and you likely won't see any limitations with the setup. Street friction disks on Street flywheel, being that you pretty much only street drive the car.

Nice numbers dude!!

I love that crazy fast ass car. I also love the fact you made the numbers on BC cams. That company gets so much hate for no reason it seems. After seeing your results from your cam test I bought a set so the haters can hate. Much respect to you and your car!

The 'hate' comes from well founded fact that proved their quality control and manufacturing process was straight garbage. I've actually known three people that had BC cams snap IN HALF in the head for no reason.

However, it does genuinely seem like BC is trying to do better. But let's not be ignorant here and pretend it was always sunshine and rainbows and people were just hating for no reason at all.

For what it's worth, BC's processes and parts seem to be a LOT better than they were before. I am currently running their H-beam rods in my 2.4 long-rod motor.

True true and I haven't been in the game that long but I thought they deserved a chance. I know there's a lot of money on the line with my build but sometimes you just have to see for yourself. I always root for the underdogs I guess. I could have gone kelfords or gsc, price wasn't the issue. I read kels review and wanted to give them a chance. Sure if they break and ruin my motor I'll consider it a lesson learned.

Yeah I will say they are willing to listen when a person has a complaint about their product. You may notice that they have redesigned their whole cam profile line

Thanks tim. I will be contacting you shortly about the next step for sure!

We all know why, he will blame his differential though.

The only thing that doesn't make sense to me is that you trapped 137 with 800whp. That definitely doesn't add up.
I wasn't running the track at 800whp that's why. I dynoed 809 @ 42psi I was only running 30ish psi on those pulls logger put me at about 650ish whp. I was informed at the start of track session I would not be able to run if the car trapped 140 or better or 10.99 or better because with no roll cage so I started out at waste gate pressure of 25 psi and inched it to 30ish which put me as close as I wanted to be to the track rules without being tossed. Lol the car is a beast for sure.

LOL I bet that hellcat owner thought he had a easy race on his hands but you wrecked him!

To anyone hating on this guys fast GST, get a hobby or a puppy or something. Don't hate on the car because it's got more HP than you.

Yeah those hellcat guys were totally upset. My first race I lost to one when boost was set at waste gate but after a few passes turning it up little by little the eclipse played spoiler rest of the day LOL.
