I installed a new 2G rear diff, axles, solid diff bushings and subframe mounts over the weekend and I ran into one issue that concerned me. When I attached the driveshaft to the diff it was a tight fit compared to the removal. I am concerned that I drove the solid diff mounts in too far and the diff is sitting closer to the driveshaft then originally designed. The only issue I can see arising from this is the carrier bearing being worn out prematurely.

The question I have is, has anyone else ran into this situation and I correct in my assumption? Should I get back under the car and move the diff bushing placement? The car is in rebuild status so its hasn't moved under its own power yet.
