Hey guys,
I've been having a problem with my Innovate MTXL gauge and I want to see if anyone has had the same problem before I go buy a different wideband.
The issue I'm having is that sometimes the gauge will get stuck on "HTR" and won't read AFR values. I am simulating my front narrowband with this gauge so while it's glitched like this I can't drive the car because it's not giving the ecu values. I have already replaced the sensor thinking it was bad but that didnt fix it. I also removed the rubber weather seal thing in the connector to see if that was preventing it from making a good connection, it still does it. It is completely random when it decides to get stuck.
Recalibrating usually unglitches it but I tried to recalibrate 3 times this morning and it was still stuck reading HTR.
Please let me know if anyone has had this issue as well.

For the record in case anyone searches this later. I tried changing the power source and adding dielectric grease to the connectors and it still gave me the problem. And I received no response back from Innovate. So i wound up getting an AEM uego. Zero calibration required, very little warmup time when you first start the car, and i was able to set it up easily with ecmlink. Only downside so far is that it does seem a little bit more jumpy than the mtxl. Oh and the uego uses the Bosch 4.9 instead of the 4.2 oxygen sensor which is a plus so i've read. We'll see how well it lasts but for now im happy to be rid of that problem.

I switched from the UEGO to the MTX-L last year and the Innovate piece it was so much more stable and responsive, not to mention easier to route wiring for the 1G pillar. I'd rather also be able to recalibrate it whenever I want, and not just trust that the sensor stays 100% all the time.

That's a valid point, if i didn't have that issue with my MTXL i would have felt no reason to get rid of it. But i didn't feel comfortable buying another MTXL after my experience.
