Hi everyone,

I'm Angel and currently living in Las Cruces, New Mexico. I recently purchased a 1995 Eagle Talon TSI fwd. I am new to the dsm community, but I come from the :dsm: Mitsubishi lancer/ mirage scene. My last last two vehicles were a 2001 Mit mirage and a 2009 Mit Lancer Gts. Right now Talon is sitting in my garage, because I am doing a tune-up on it. I started buying maintenance parts for it IE. spark plugs and wires, rear shock absorbers, valve cover gasket, fuel filter, rad cap and thermostat. Also replacing my engine and transmission fluid,as well as coolant flush. Still haven't decided on what fluids to use on the engine and transmission. Right now I'm researching in the forum to see what everyone else has done to their cars. The car is stock right now and the body is a little rough. My plans are to have this as a daily driver, and future goals to be able to make at least 300+whp. I can't wait to start working on this car and start learning from everyone in this forum.

Here some pictures of the car.

Angel,

Welcome to the forum! Hope you find everything your looking for here. Beautiful car you found there! Little rough on the edges but you can't go wrong with a DSM IMO.

As for the fluid in your transmission, i've never heard to use anything but Redline MT90.http://www.redlineoil.com/product.aspx?pid=46

I believe the FWD trans holds some where around 2.5 quarts. When i changed mine I was told by a local shop to get three quarts and try and get as much in it as possible. More the better.

Thank you, definitely ordering the redline oil for the car. I just recently got a 98-99 eclipse front bumper and headlights. I still haven't decided yet on what I'm going to do for the rear of the car, ie. Bumper and spoiler. But I'll get to that eventually.

Thanks 97_4g63t. I'm actually happy with the car. Even though its got some stuff I got to fix mechanically and cosmetic. Overall can't wait to start installing parts into it and making it a little faster.

This is how it looks now with the new front bumper. Hope you guys enjoy!
