Hey guys,
So I have seen many different head and tail lights on dsm's. I was looking into getting the EDM or JDM tails, but they are more than I want to spend on something that isn't necessarily original. Yesterday, I was looking at the Altezza tails because they have clear lenses on them. I was thinking that if you had some clear lenses that you could possibly paint them the amber and red, then put them on your OEM tail lights in place of the red lenses. My question is, has anyone ever thought of or done anything cool with their tails like that?
I also have seen people make custom headlights that look good. I haven't really looked into headlight fab, but I would be interested in seeing other people's headlights. Examples of what I have seen are something along the lines of swapping in a halo light in the center of their OEM lights.
Also, I have clear sidemarkers that I like a lot compared to the orange stock ones. They are from ebay and leak water constantly throw the hole where the bulb goes in. Anyone had this problem? I think I am going to dry them out and maybe put some RTV or other form of sealant on them to seal them better.

. Tail lights will be 1 section instead of 3, but painted up to look like the stock talons but will have a clear lense for the brake and turn still painted to look stock but show up as something completely different at night
Had to take them back 
I'll be building a different, yet similar set up sometime soon. When they were on the old DSM, I never got around to driving it much due to its issues, but I have observed much now that they are on this spyder. During the day, the brake lights aren't really visible when lit, except for the center light. Same with the running lights. This is most likely because of the LEDs I chose for the build. The next build will have better lights, and be arranged so everything can be seen well during the day as well as the night.
