So yesterday i adjusted my CAS to fix my misfire idle, and it fixed it. My idle was good, no misfires and a good afr. Today i was driving and everything was good, it was pulling hard on small pulls and such. I filled it up with 93 like i always do and drove it home on the highway in my city. When i got back in town i stopped at a stop sign, then when i did a small second gear pull and got to boost, my car suddenly lost almost all power and went to subaru mode and was like 1 cylinder stopped working. It was at 3500-4000rpm range and sounded like i was putting huge amounts of fuel in and it was bogging and fluttering. I shut it off wondering what was going on. Turned it back on, it still did it so i shut it off. Then i turned it on again and it was running like normal. I drove it a couple miles, it drove fine. I did a small 1st gear pull and it was good, but when i went to 2nd, it did the exact same thing. I down shifted and it went away. I just did a compression test and its 150 all accross. I am like mind blown.:confused::confused::confused::confused::confused:

Check the connector to the power transistor and make sure it isnt moving. That's what it sounds like to me.
It seems to happen only when i go under boost in second gear. It suddenly happens Then it suddenly goes away. This issue is really eating at me. I mean i have had that happen before. The pt connector being lose then when i start my car it would sound like a subaru.

I had a similar issue, mine would misfire on and off especially when it got warm, 1 of my injectors would stop working, swapped em out and fixed the problem
This is far off from a misfire. It goes into full on subaru mode.

Possibly bad injectors, faulty spark plug wires. Maybe spark plugs

The auto gst in my avatar was my dd for a while. Had the same symptoms running wise from time to time. As ChrisSoFresh said it was an injector in my case.

I also had this problem only when I started the car cold it would run normally. However, when I would go somewhere and start the car just a little bit warm the injector would not run. So I tested the resistance at the injector when warm and sure enough the no. 3 was bad and when tested cold it tested good. Test the resistance of the injectors when warm and after the car is cold (like air temperature), its quick and easy.
