Ok I have searched but didn't find anything, tried Goggle and all that. I am sure someone has had to deal with this before. Basically at one time I took out my rear seat belts, now I am re installing them, the problem is that when I go to pull on the belt it instantly locks up. I haven't installed them in the car yet, so I have them here in front of me and to get the belt all the way out I have to keep tension on the belt and go one click at a time cause it will lock up instantly. When I uninstalled them did I break them by letting the belt go all the way in or something? I have two different sets both from 2gs and they do the same thing. They worked before taking them out, really weird LOL. Anyone else have this problem?

I just had the same issue when I swap all mine out to black belts. The only way the rears would pull out was I had to hold them at the angle they are installed in the car at. Try just bolting them back in and then pulling on them.

Just to clarify they do this because they have a small weight inside. Thats what causes them to lock up during a crash. Inertia usually does it but since you guys held them outside the car in a different orientation gravity did it.
