Heres a little update to my above post. I wish i had a way to purge!! Someone mentioned i should use a little larger cup, im planning on trying that or bumping up my gas flow a little for the vbands.

Nice fab work. Only gets better with time like a fine wine. The welds look like they could use some more gas coverage and maybe less heat and little more filler. I'm no expert just my 2 cents.
Some mild steel weldment from earlier this week. Nothing special

Those are 2 m8 thru holes with 2" spacing. I didn't feel like filling them up so I just started and stopped around them. It does look pretty funny in the picture. Looks like the bead is sharpied out ha.

Here are a few pics of the turbo kit I recently made for an Evo 9.

The life of awd! So simple and 2 maybe 3 bends LOL. Took ages on my fwd going around stuff. Cant wait to make my rear fuel tank and remove the spare wheel housing.

Yea it could have been done with one bend, but then itwould have been at an angle exiting the bumper. I didnt like that. I should be getting hangars and vbands done tonight! Cant wait to hear what this sounds like!

I like the angle. When i made mine i had to have it at an angle plus it ment 2 less bends and more pipe!

Awesome man. You have plenty of good choices up there. Maybe I'll have my Dsm back together soon to attempt another track day. I will bring it up there when it's solid. Phoenix tracks are about 4 tenths faster than the Tucson track.

New welding cart that is appropriate for the new welder. Stainless 2" sq tubing 7 ga. - I will make provisions to secure a 330 CF bottle on back, and a custom water cooler in the bottom under the machine

That's nice looking man. I never heard of a dynasty 280, is that a replacement for the 200? I see they still didn't throw in ep and en adjustments on them like the 350 has. Pretty cool machine

Not a replacement - just another model to bridge the gap between the 200 & 350. And you can buy the amplitude expansion for $500 if you need it. Basically a 350 as far as features go and adjustment range. I love it, had it since mid January and have about 15 hours on the arc timer.

Need this. Bad, are the features the same as the 200dx with the exception of more amperage, and thr expandable memory? Really leaning to the 280 but it's got quite the tag for the machine alone. I'm way over the over simplistic diversion180

It is quite the tag, but it is worth it if you are going to be making any money off of it. Besides the amperage range, and the ability for independent AC amperage upgrade, the AC freq has a much wider range for aluminum work. Other than that the features are identical from what I can tell off the PDF fliers Miller makes available.

I used a borrowed Everlast 200 DX for over a year that a buddy was not using to do a lot of sidework. Paid for my gas and other consumables of course, but made plenty of extra money with the borrowed welder to buy JET bandsaw and the 280 DX, so I could give the junky Everlast back to my buddy :)

I'll probably end up with the 200dx cause i dont work with aluminum that often let alone anything over 1/4".... Yet. I need all the settings i can get. Plus i needa save a little extra doh for 6 275cf argon bottles (largest to own in my area, the 330's are rentals) and a cooler and the nifty little wifi pedal some day. The size of it is astonishing! It's probably smaller but a little heavier than the diversion with more settings than the synchrowave 250dx. Good work makin the bucks!$

still learning and open for tips and help i have a Lincoln 180HD MIG
thanks

^^Not bad, but try to clean your material first. It helps a lot.
Anyone need anything cut on the cnc plasma?

No recent pics out of respect for the guy I'm doing work for. But I can say one of them came out awesome! The others not so much. Cutting slots in plates with plasma then welding them is for the birds. I need a good way to clean the inside of aluminum so I get a better looking bead.

Got to tackle a jig for a downpipe that has a lot of curves. Never did one before, anyone have any tips? The deadline is asap of course
