I have a New Full Blown 70mm Throttle Body that was for my Evo. I sold my evo, but still have the TB. I bought a 2g and the tb is, pun intended, blown. It needs replacing.

I removed it yesterday, and found that my evo 70mm Full Blown unit fits, but:

1) Its size would require an Intake gasket match port
2) Sensors would have to be Evo(2.4 galant, 3g eclipse) , w/ Evo(2.4 galant, 3g eclipse) pigtails connecting to our harness.

Is it worth it to go through the stress? It doesn't seem that hard to port match the Intake and swap sensors - might be kinda cool to see power gains at that. Or, is it worth it to just buy a ported unit on here? I don't want a boomba, and don't want to spend another 300 on a TB. Also, a 1g TB isn't enough, I want 800 whp and I know those thing's limits.

So, thanks for the suggestions. I tried and succeed to put the evo unit on. Fit up and ran okay. Obviously I'll need to plug up evo scan and test the numbers on the TPS, run another boost leak test, and see what my aem can do with my idle.

Do you have pics of the full blown set up? I am looking to upgrade my intake manifold and throttle body. I run AEM EMS so should not have a problem there. Also did the sensors plug into the harness? I have a 98 2G and from all the research the plugs for the TPS should be the same.
